Being a Digital Native means growing up with the internet, smartphones, and digital tools as part of everyday life. Technology feels normal, not special. Digital Natives learn fast by searching online, watching videos, and testing things themselves. They prefer speed, simple tools, and clear access to information. This shapes how they learn, work, and communicate.

This matters because many schools, workplaces, and systems are still built for older ways of thinking. When we understand Digital Natives, we can design better learning, better products, and better work environments.

But there is an important point.

Being a Digital Native does not always mean having strong digital skills. Using apps easily is not the same as understanding data, online safety, or critical thinking. Growing up with technology is common now. Using it smartly and responsibly is the fundamental skill.
