Why Gen Z Is Not Bad at Teamwork?

Many people ask if Gen Z likes teamwork?! From my experience, the answer is yes. But teamwork needs the right setup.
Gen Z grew up with online games, group chats, and shared projects. Working with others is normal for them. What they do not like is unclear roles and unfair work. They want to know what they are responsible for. They want their voice to matter. Long meetings with no clear goal can quickly kill motivation. Gen Z also values independence. They enjoy teamwork when they have space to think, create, and make decisions. So the issue is not teamwork itself. The issue is weak teamwork.
When teams have clear goals, fair roles, and open communication, Gen Z often becomes very active and engaged. Good teamwork is not about age. It is about how the team is built.
